Scotty Cameron Phantom X #12 Putter
The Phantom X 12 from Scotty Cameron has been created to provide golfers with a golf putter that offers brilliant alignment and confidence-inspiring performances.
When constructing this golf putter, Scotty Cameron has used a 303 stainless steel face which blends into the body and wings of the mallet design to offer incredible accuracy on putts. This clubface has been paired with a 6061 aircraft aluminium sole which features customisable steel sole weights. The combination of aluminium and steel helps to move the weight of the club head to the perimeter which increases the amount of forgiveness and stability this putter provides when playing on the greens.
Scotty Cameron has included a unique combination of alignment tools when creating this golf putters by using a sight dot alignment that features a sweet spot and elongated sight lines milled into the raised flange from the face which travels all the way to the back of the putter head frame the golf ball and provide expert alignment guidance at address.To ensure that golfers are using a golf putter that offers the optimal amount of balance and alignment so that every putty allows the golf ball to travel in a much more true motion Scotty Cameron has included an “X” at the sole of this golf club that has been precision-milled to provide the perfect amount of balance when this putter is resting on the turf at the address when putting which.
To ensure that when using this golf club golfers have enough control and feel when putting Scotty Cameron chose to revamp the Pistolero Plus grip, which features a non-slip texture, has been included in the design of this golf putter to provide golfers with the ideal combination of size, feedback and feel. This grip has then been used on a stepless steel shaft that has been constructed to minimise the amount of rotation in the face of this golf club while putting by incorporating a single “mid” bend.
