Wilson D9 Forged Golf Irons - Steel
Wilson has launched the all-new D9 Forged irons that combine the exceptional feel that comes with a forged iron with the distance and speed generated from Wilson’s Power Hole engine.
The D9 golf irons have been engineered using a premium, carbon forged head that creates an incredible feel and high level of control so that every shot made travels exactly where they need to. The forged design allows for a thin topline and minimal offset for a set of irons, which has resulted in an incredible look and styling.
Along with the forged design, a new asymmetrical Power Hole arrangement has been used to work in tandem with the clubhead and move the bias to the heel of the club. This arrangement has meant that the face of the golf club is much more open and increases the contact time with the ball so that more energy can be transferred into the ball to generate maximum speed and distance on shots.
The engineers at Wilson have designed the D9 forged irons with a lower centre of gravity which provides a higher launch, increase peak trajectory and a much steeper descent angle. All of these components combine to create a set of irons that allow for more carry on the golf ball as well as greater stopping power on the green.
