Ping Milled PLD DS72 Satin Golf Putter
Ping has created the new PLD golf putters so that golfers can experience incredible quality and precision on the greens with tour proven control and consistently that delivers greater accuracy every time.
This golf putter has been designed to feature a precision-milled face pattern which is used because of the feel and speed control that golfers can experience when putting with this golf club. The performance that can be created with the PLD putter is due to the way the face pattern is created, Ping calls it the AMP (Aggressive Milling Pattern), while also using feedback and inspiration from tour players such as Viktor Hovland for a more complete design.
Ping has designed the PLD golf putter, which stands for “Putting Lab Design”, to be made available in four different head shapes, the Anser, Anser 2 and Prime Tyne 4. This model is the DS72, a mid-mallet, blunt-back head design that has been inspired by Viktor Hovland with a wide topline, and a single alignment line for perfectly lining up every putt. The double-bend shaft that has been used on this golf putter is best suited for golfers who have a straight for and back arc to their golf swing.
This Ping putter uses a solid block of forged, 303 stainless steel which has been milled for more than four hours to create a precisely shaped club head with a premium look. Incorporated into the design is the use of Ping’s provide perimeter-weighting which ensures that golfers can own a putter that delivers plenty of control and accuracy on the greens.
To add further control and precision to the design of this golf club Ping has included a PP58 Midsize Blackout grip which has been chosen because of how much more easily it makes squaring the face at the moment of impact for more accurate putts.
