At the centre of the design is a reworked CORTECH Chamber, paired with a lightweight composite crown, refined sole shaping, and a high-strength steel face. Together, these technologies improve forgiveness, enhance energy transfer, and encourage cleaner turf interaction, giving golfers more confidence both from the tee and the fairway.

IMPROVED CORTECH CHAMBER

The updated CORTECH Chamber has been engineered to vary the internal spacing between the chamber wall and the sole. By increasing this gap towards the toe and heel, Mizuno has boosted face flex in common miss areas while preserving strong performance from the centre of the face.

This refined internal geometry helps maintain ball speed on off-centre strikes, producing more consistent carry distances and tighter dispersion. The result is a fairway wood that feels stable and forgiving, while still delivering efficient energy transfer across the entire face.

SPEED BEVEL SOLE DESIGN

The redesigned Speed Bevel sole improves how the club moves through the turf by refining both the leading edge and trailing sole geometry. This reduces resistance at impact and allows the head to glide more smoothly through fairway lies, light rough, and tight turf.

Cleaner turf interaction promotes more reliable strike quality, helping preserve launch and ball speed even when contact is slightly heavy or low on the face.

WRAP-AROUND COMPOSITE CROWN

Each JPX ONE Fairway Wood features a lightweight wrap-around composite crown that extends around the upper portion of the head. This construction saves valuable mass high in the head and allows weight to be repositioned lower and deeper.

The lower centre of gravity promotes higher launch with controlled spin, making it easier to get the ball airborne while maintaining a strong, stable flight and a confidence-inspiring look at address.

MULTI-THICKNESS CORTECH FACE

The multi-thickness MAS1C steel face is designed to maximise COR across the hitting area. Variable thickness zones optimise face flex at impact, helping maintain fast ball speeds not only from the centre, but across a wider portion of the face.
