The Cobra OPTM MAX-D Driver is built for golfers who need help turning the ball over and producing a more draw-biased flight. Strategic internal weighting and a centre of gravity positioned closer to the hosel work together to encourage higher launch, faster face closure and straighter tee shots that inspire confidence.
Created specifically to promote a controlled draw, the OPTM MAX-D pairs directional bias with impressive head stability. Developed through advanced supercomputing, its carefully optimised weight distribution helps limit side spin and improve accuracy, allowing golfers to repeat stronger, more reliable drives.
OPTM drivers are engineered to reduce Products of Inertia (POI), the measurement of how much the clubhead twists across multiple axes at impact. By lowering POI, the OPTM MAX-D delivers reduced curvature, tighter dispersion and more consistent results off the tee.
A refined, draw-biased head profile is designed to minimise side spin on mis-hits. This intelligent shaping helps counteract a slice and promotes longer, straighter ball flights, even when contact drifts away from the centre.
A fixed 11 g heel weight shifts the centre of gravity closer to the hosel, making it easier to square and close the clubface through impact. This promotes higher launch and a natural draw pattern for improved accuracy.
A forged face insert featuring H.O.T. Face technology increases face flex across multiple strike locations. This helps maintain ball speed and distance on off-centre hits, delivering dependable performance and confidence from the tee.
