Cobra LTDx Golf Irons - Steel
The PWRSHELL face has been chosen as the design Cobra wants to use for these irons as it is a forged face cup that increases ball speed across a wider area on the face. But sat just behind the face is a new design feature that has been specially chosen as it allows for maximum flex of the body, face and sole at the moment of impact so that there is an almost elastic moment that absorbs the energy and then redirects it forward, delivering powerful ball speeds.
The way that Cobra has achieved this is by using their new PWR-COR. A multi layer weighting system which features a steel bar that runs through the hosel, down the bottom of the club and all the way to the toe. The area that the steel bar sits in has been injected with a polymer that has encased the bar and left it suspended in the middle.
The LTDx Irons also feature an 8 grams toe weight that enhances the stability of the club. However this weight can be adjusted to a players personal preference on their swing weighting from 2 grams upto 14 grams.
The Cobra LTDx Irons are also available in Graphite.
Features and Benefits
PWR-COR™ Technology
A multi-layer PWR-COR™ weighting system features a steel core bar that is suspended within a polymer injected casing. The design promotes maximum flex of the body, face and sole at impact creating an elastic rebound effect that delivers powerful ball speed.
PWRSHELL™ Face Design
A forged face cup design increases ball speed across a wider area on the face.
Speed Tuned Weighting
An 8 gram toe weight enhances stability and can be adjusted down to 2g and up to 14g to dial in swing weighting for custom builds.
