Cobra Golf's King Snakebite Satin Wedges are a nostalgic throwback to the rich history and evolution of Cobra Golf.
A snakebite groove design with sharper, deeper grooves and a traditional, full face length, has been incorporated within the engineering, to maximise your spin and produce a 'bite' around the greens.
A re-engineered cutting method replaces cutting tools to tighten tolerances, maximize groove volume, and create the sharpest and most accurate grooves possible. The Snakebite Satin Golf Wedge's design increases the groove depth by 11% and sharpens the edges by 40% to deliver maximum spin to the ball.
Cobra Golf's groove system optimizes spin for wedge loft. A traditional groove length and narrower and deeper grooves can be admired within the 48-54 degree snakebite, which delivers consistent spin and trajectories on the lower lofted wedges used with a square or de-lofted face.
Meanwhile, the 56-60-degree lofts feature full-face groove length and wider and shallower grooves to maximize spin on shots with an open face when the ball is more likely to make contact with the high toe area.
The faces and grooves are CNC Milled on each wedge to create the most precise face and groove shapes for optimal spin and trajectory control.
