TaylorMade Qi Max Golf Irons - Steel
The TaylorMade Qi Max Irons are built for golfers who want effortless distance, high levels of forgiveness, and a refined profile that still inspires confidence at address. As a true game improvement iron, Qi Max blends fast face technology, intelligent weighting, and modern shaping to promote straighter ball flights, stronger launch, and a noticeably softer feel across the set.
Each iron head is individually optimised to deliver consistent performance from the long irons through to the wedges, helping golfers gain confidence, improve control, and produce predictable carry numbers throughout the bag.
What golfers experience as "feel" is heavily influenced by sound at impact, and TaylorMade has engineered the Qi Max to excel in both areas. The two key contributors - the top line and the face - are supported by a new internal stability bar alongside ECHO Damper material.
This internal construction helps reduce unwanted vibrations while improving acoustic feedback, creating a more premium, solid sensation at impact that's rare in high-forgiveness irons. The result is a smoother, more responsive strike that encourages confident swings.
TaylorMade's proven face design helps the Qi Max deliver distance without the unpredictable "cut" spin sometimes seen in fast-face iron constructions. By controlling face flexibility, the club can maintain more consistent spin and ball speed across a wider strike area.
This produces tighter dispersion and more reliable carry distances, meaning mishits tend to fly straighter and land closer to target - ideal for golfers who want forgiveness without sacrificing confidence in their yardages.
Every head in the Qi Max set is designed to deliver a specific performance outcome for that individual iron. While maximum distance and forgiveness form the foundation, the face geometry and internal weighting are tuned to produce the launch and spin needed for straight, consistent results with each club.
Long irons are designed to help with easier launch and carry, mid irons balance distance with control, and the scoring irons are built to support more precise approach play.
FLTD CG strategically places the centre of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively higher as the set moves into the short irons and wedges. This CG progression helps the long irons launch higher and play easier, while the scoring clubs deliver added control, improved flight management, and greater precision into the green.
