Wilson has created the Launch Pad 2 golf irons to provide golfers with a set of super game improvement golf clubs that promote cleaner connection with the golf ball on shots to generate greater distances towards the greens.
These golf irons has been designed with the performance in mind to optimise how the golf club interacts with the turf you are playing on. This means that rather than having a golf club that could dig into the fairway, losing clubhead speed and not creating the right contact with the golf ball, the Launch Pad 2 Irons have been designed with shorter divots that allow for a better contract with the grass. Having a golf club that can keep the clubface square at impact at all times means that incredible shots can be created consistently swing after swing.
When designing these irons weight has been removed and the amount of mass in the clubhead has been lowered. This weight reduction provides a golf club that can launch the ball higher than before and keep the ball flying much further with less effort, allowing for more holes of golf being played at your best. This has been paired with the KBS Max Ultralight shaft, so that even more swing speed can be created for shots that can launch the golf ball even further.
Wilson has made sure that these golf clubs can go the distance with the new paint and finishing techniques that have been used to create a set of irons that are built to hit longer distances and last as long as you need them without risk of scuffing or chipping.
