Toulon Design Las Vegas H4.5 Putter
The Toulon Design Las Vegas H4.5 putter is a tour proven wing backed slant neck mallet best suited for players who stokes feature a moderate arc and face rotation.
Weighting has been a key focus when designing this putter, with Odyssey deciding to use a new two split-weight design which moves weights that are installed in the head of the putter further forward, and towards the toe and heel. By moving the weights in the club head it has led to improvements in the inertia of the head, while also improving the consistency of impact and forward rolling. These factors all help players play with consistent speed and allow for a higher level of performance.
Along with the head weighting, 40 grams has been able to be saved thanks to the use of the innovative multi-material design that went into making the shaft. The 40 grams that has been saved has been re-used by placing the weight in other areas to rebalance the putter to allow for improved tempo and consistency in players strokes.
The face of this putter is definitely the main feature with this club, with the sleek and sophisticated deep diamond groove mill pattern being used and the midnight black finish that showcases the craftsmanship that went into making this putter.
However the use of this design is for more than just looks though, with the full face grooves being designed to control both sound and feel when putting the ball.
