The Cleveland Launcher XL HALO Fairway Wood features a larger head that is able to generate an MOI of 3,338 g-cm², the most ever in a Cleveland Golf Fairway Wood.
With such a high MOI this club is incredibly forgiving, but also offers golfers higher launch by using low-and-deep weighting inside the club head to offer extreme distance of shots. To go along with this internal weight, a hibore stepped crown has been used to lower the centre of gravity of the club to provide even higher launching shots.
On the sole of the club, Cleveland has placed two glide rails to ensure that golfers are able to easily play their shots with confidence no matter what surface or how rough the lie is. The rails allow for the face of the club to remain straight on impact and make sure that players have optimal striking form.
Working with this Launcher XL head design in the new rebound frame which features two flex zones. These alternating zones work together, with one providing maximum flexibility and the other rigidity, to transfer more energy into the golf ball to increase ball speed and maximise the distance that golfers can reach on their drives.
The Cleveland Launcher XL HALO Fairway Wood has been designed to provide golfers with more control, with a custom configuration that is half an inch shorter without counterbalancing. And to provide players with even more control, an 8g weight has been placed inside the end of the grip which allows for better balance for more control without extra effort.
