The Scotty Cameron Champions Choice Newport 1.5 Plus Button Back, developed with input from top players, features an I-beam jet neck for subtle toe flow in a natural putting stroke. It incorporates Scotty's renowned Teryllium inlay, fused to the 303 stainless steel putter head with vibration dampening and a three-button-head-screw setup for enhanced feel.
The slightly wider design of tjhe 1.5 Plus, beyond a standard Newport, is achieved through precision milling of the 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum sole plate. This allows for a larger putter flange, optimizing weight, balance, and increasing the moment of inertia (MOI).
Presented in a silver misted stainless steel finish, with champion-themed graphics in red, white, and blue translucent colors, Scotty's latest Button Back Plus model combines a rare blade design with the desired performance and feel of Teryllium.
