The Pro V1x golf ball has been designed to offer golfer amazing distance on their drives off the tee and long iron shots from the fairway thanks to the use of a new reformulated core that allows for greater ball speed to be created. This distance performance has also been enhanced by using a new casing layer which allows for greater speed on the ball while reducing the amount of spin that is created on long shots.

This lower spin rate is extremely useful as it helps to ensure that on long shots the golf ball is much less likely to veer off is a sideways direction so that every shot flys much straighter consistently. This ball flight consistency has been made even greater thanks to the use of a new dimple design on this golf ball which allows for greater air flow and aerodynamic behaviour, so it can cut through the air. 

Titleist has designed this golf ball to also offer golfers a softer feel and much more controlled play that allows for increased stopping power on the greens for flop shots or wedge shots, while also having plenty of greenside spin all thanks to the urethane cover system which has been used.
