Bridgestone Golf is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Sports Ltd, and is based in Georgia, USA. Bridgestone designs and manufactures a full range of golf equipment, including golf balls, clubs and accessories, utilising both the Bridgestone and Precept brand names.
Parent company Bridgestone was founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi and first produced golf balls in 1935. It was not until 1972 that the company's involvement in golf expanded into the manufacture of clubs. Bridgestone's B330 series of golf balls is the company's premier line. Bridgestone also manufactures nine different kinds of balls, the B330, the B330-S, the B330-RX, the B330-RXS, the xFIXx, the e5, the e6, the e7, and the Lady Precept.
