As golf drivers and fairway woods have increased in size, the hybrid club has started to look slightly small in comparison, a trend which did not go unnoticed to Mizuno designers and they spotted a trend developing back towards more lofted fairway woods as a result. The JPX800 hybrid club bridges the gap to the long irons more effectively with a larger, less intimidating head size. The JPX800 has also re-addressed the issue of shaft length through the lofts. There is a shorter control type shaft in the higher lofts and a longer distance orientated version in the stronger heads.
Why not be one of the first to own one of these Mizuno JPX800 Hybrid's. The larger JPX800 hybrids harness their HOT METAL energy within an extremely consistent 'Ultimate Dynamic Stability' design.
Consistently high ball speeds and near maximum R&A conforming distance are delivered from a wide area of the 1770 stainless maraging steel clubface thanks to increased stability on both its vertical and horizontal axis (UDS).
An increased overall size and clubface have the feel of a lofted fairway wood, with a shorter shaft in the more lofted models adding the control needed for long approaches.
Mizuno's lightweight Exsar HS5 graphite shaft is fitted as standard with a range of custom options available. Lie angle can be adjusted +/- 2 degrees to match iron sets.
