Golf Shirtshen most people think of golf shirts, the first thing that probably comes to mind is a simple cotton, collared shirt. But there are several types of shirts considered to be golf shirts. The one thing that each has in common is that it is designed for the game of golf. They are made to withstand various weather conditions, and to also work well with the movement of your body during a golf game. There are various types of golf shirts made to fit just about any type of taste and body type. The most recognized golf shirts are those made by manufacturers catering to the golf industry such as the Bobby Jones Players Collection and Callaway. You’ll recognize these shirts not only by their trademark collars, but also by their colors. Golf shirts have a tendency to come in tranquil colors such as blue and green, although lately more vibrant colors have also become the norm. Cotton isn’t the only material used to make golf shirts. Many are now made from knitted fabrics in a cashmere or a silk blend. Since the material used to make this type of golf shirt is more high-end than basic cotton, so is the price. However, they are often considered worth it is since they look so good. If you want to achieve the same look, but want to spend less money, look for golf shirts made with mercerized cotton. They look just as good, but are usually about half the price. If the standard cotton golf shirt is more your style, but you want to try something a little different, look for one with a built in pattern. Polo by Ralph Lauren, Jack Nicklaus, and Ashworth are some of the companies that make this type of golf shirt. The last type of golf shirt is newer to the market. New technology allows makers to use a special fabric that wicks away annoying sweat and helps to cool down your body during a hot day. This type of shirt allows you to stay more comfortable during hot weather, ensuring you play a better game. Golf shirts, regardless of the type, are easy to maintain. If you need to pack them for a trip, do so in bundles. Fold them carefully before placing them in your bag, or hang them beneath a garment bag. Just as you would with dress clothes, golf shirts should be dry cleaned or, if you prefer washing them yourself in your home washing machine, washed with care. Sorry, your search returned no results.
