A Seamless Hitting Surface for Explosive Power and Extraordinary Forgiveness The 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium cup face is lighter with greater rebound properties. The cup face technology requires no welding on the face. This creates a hotter ball response across a much larger effective hitting area for explosive distance, even on off-center hits.
First-Ever Dual-Density Cup Face Clubhead Design with Titanium Hosel Creates Easy, High Launch MACTEC fairway woods are created using an exclusive combination of advanced materials and technology. Silver brazing technology joins an ultra-lightweight 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium cup face with a heavier 17-4 Stainless Steel body. This construction combined with a light Titanium hosel sleeve organically shifts the CG deep behind the clubface which promotes an easy high launch, lower spin and driver-like distance.
Tungsten Weighting System for Increased Stability and Straighter Shots 25 grams of strategically placed Tungsten create optimal launch, spin and accuracy characteristics. Two Tungsten weights, 10 grams each in the low and forward toe and heel portion of the sole, lower the CG below the equator of the ball causing vertical gear effect for optimal low spin, high launch ball flight. Two more Tungsten weights, 2.5 grams each in the extreme heel and toe, enhance MOI for more clubhead stability at impact. These properties provide increased control and accuracy.
Exclusive Triple-Action™ Shaft for Increased Clubhead Speed and More Distance This proprietary two-flex-point, three-zone shaft is designed from grip to clubhead to generate, stabilize and release more energy and increase clubhead speed through the contact zone. Varied thickness, stiffness and strand orientation of the graphite in three distinct zones provide maximum clubhead speed and control. The firm zone stores energy and the soft zones release energy for more distance with no additional effort.
